ReplixFax winAPI


The ReplixFax winAPI is a comprehensive OCX toolkit for rapid development of custom fax applications or integration with any third-party Windows applications.


FEATURES & CAPABILITIES

  • Client-side API with Full Fax Server Functions and Features: The OCX based Replix winAPI provides all the server functions conveniently captured in a toolkit format for developing custom Windows fax applications or integrating with any third-party Windows client applications.
  • Full 32-bit Object-oriented Call Library (OCX): The 32-bit Windows programming interface toolkit can be used to build fax client applications that communicate with either Windows or Unix ReplixFax servers, via HTTP protocol.
  • No Special Software Requirement: The Replix winAPI toolkit requires no special software to complete the installation. The self-extracting file will install OCX engine and HTML version of Replix winAPI Programmer's Guide.

    ReplixFax API for the Java (TM) platform


    The ReplixFax API for the Java (TM) platform allows developers with applications written in Java to rapidly integrate their Java applications with the Replix fax server using ReplixFax Java Class Libraries.


    FEATURES & CAPABILITIES
  • Fax Sending: Both client-side files and server-side files can be sent to either an individual or a group of recipients for the following files - ASCII Text, TIFF, PostScript, PDF.
  • Fax Job Status Monitoring: You can monitor both sent faxes and received faxes based on information of the owner, queue type (send or receive or both), or a particular fax-job ID.
  • Server-based Phonebook Management: Phonebook is managed in the server for both individual entries and group lists.
  • Custom Cover Pages: Custom cover pages are provided for user convenience.
  • Send Fax Options for Retries and Delayed Send: User can select number of retries and schedule fax transmission at off-peak hours.
  • Inbound Fax Management: You can check for new inbound faxes, route the received fax to other Replix users, and display the header information of faxes in the received_queue on the server.
  • Delivery of Received Faxes via E-mail: Inbound faxes can be delivered as e-mail attachments.
  • User Notification via E-mail: Users receive e-mail notification upon completion of successful transmission or in case of failure.
  • Routing to Other Replix Users: Received faxes can be routed to other Replix users.
  • User Account Management: Server utilities provide account management for password administration, user profiles and account information.
  • Server Queue Management: You can manage fax jobs, view queue based on user_id, fax_job_id, or queue type (sent_queue or received_queue), delete a fax job from queue, delete old fax jobs from server queue, and monitor the status of a fax job.
